Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress and former model predominantly active in the Indian film industry. Her 2006 Miss Sri Lanka Universe title was also taken by her. Fernandez has Canadian, Sri Lankan, Malaysian and multiracial ancestry was born in Canada, and spent the majority of her childhood in Bahrain. Her degree is in mass communications from University of Sydney. She was employed for a number of years as a reporter on TV within Sri Lanka before she entered the world of modelling. Following her participation in Miss Universe 2006, she gained a reputation as one of the best actors in Sri Lanka. In 2009, during the course of her professional journey to India, she landed the role as Jasmine in Sujoy Ghosh's film 'Aladin'. The film was her first big break in the year 2011, when she played the lead female in Murder 2. It was a huge critical and commercial success, that led to a successful professional career path for Fernandez. Since then, she's been in movies like Housefull 2 or 3, Race 2, Definition of Fear and Judwaa 2 In addition, she is a brand spokesperson for many international brands. Involved in her community, she's a benefactor to several charitable and non-profit organizations.
