Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is a famous American singer, actress also a writer, director and actor. She is known best for her character on the TV drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also directed, produced and starred on her own movies Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is the daughter born on the 8th of January 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle Benson, her artistic younger sister. Her father, Benson's was Jewish while her mother was Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to the Reform congregation in Alabama. Benson was a part of Morganville The Series and in The Killing Jar since Buffy's ending. Her writing talents were put to use on Ghosts of Albion, and she was the director of Drones (2010).
