Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator from Cuba and America for Caso Cerrado, is the anchor for Ana Polo Rules. Ana was lived in Havana in the Cuban capital. Then she moved to Miami along with her family at age 2 after moving from Havana. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the prestigious Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish show to be nominated the Daytime Emmy(r) Award. It was also was ranked in 2015 as the number one Spanish-language program on the air at 4pm in key demos. Polo is a Cuban-born American who was born on the 11th of April 1959. She went to Florida International University and graduated in political sciences. Then she earned an PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and worked for 20 years in Miami. After obtaining her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Polo made her first appearance on TV in 2001 as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal skills were also used for other court-related programs. Literature Works and Accolades Her novel from 1958 Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute arrived in the United States of America from Spain in the year 1960. A breast cancer survivor, Polo frequently speaks and raises funds for the charity. She's been an avid advocate of LGBT rights for the bulk of her career. She received her law degree in 1987 from University of Miami School of Law.
