Anita Sarkeesian is a Canadian-American feminist media critic and public speaker. Feminist Frequency was created by Sarkeesian. Feminist Frequency was founded on the 9th of September 2009 by Sarkeesian, an undergraduate student at York University who had been fascinated by issues concerning gender and feminism for quite a lengthy time.
